Stacey Jennings
PhD student
Stacey is a PhD student at the Centre for Psychiatry. Stacey has a backround in perinatal mental health and addiction. Her research interests include substance misuse and health inequalities. Stacey is leading the Alcohol and Ethnicity project as part of her PhD.
Dr Georgina Hosang
Senior Lecturer in Mental Illness and Chronic Diseases
Dr Georgina Hosang is a Senior Lecturer in Mental Illness and Chronic Diseases, at the Centre for Psychiatry. Her research interests include the role of life stress in mental and physical illnesses. Dr Hosang is the primary supervisor for the Alcohol and Ethnicity project.
Professor Simon Dein
Professor of Cultural Psychiatry
Professor Simon Dein is a consultant psychiatrist and honorary professor at QMUL. His research interests include Mental health, religion and culture. Professor Dein is the secondary supervisor of the Alcohol and Ethnicity project.


Professor Kamaldeep Bhui
Professor of Psychiatry
Professor Bhui is a Professor of Psychiatry and Hon Consultant Psychiatrist at University of Oxford. He is Director of the Synergi Collaborative Centre on ethnic inequalities, severe mental illness and multiple disadvantage. Prof Bhui is on the supervisory panel of the Alcohol and Ethnicity project.
Professor Graham Foster
Professor of Hepatology
Professor Graham Foster is Professor of Hepatology at Queen Mary University of London and the clinical lead for hepatology at Barts Health. Prof Foster is on the supervisory panel for the Alcohol and Ethnicity project.
